1. TRAINEE INTERNATIONAL FOOD TRADER - CHESHUNT - £25k

Based in Cheshunt, with free parking and wonderful company benefits including free fruit, coffee, tea etc in the office, pension, bonuses, medical cover and much more, my client is offering the opportunity to join them and learn to be a successful trader.

These opportunities only come up once in a while so you need to grab them when they do.  What do you need to have to be considered?

You must be a graduate with a good solid degree, something like business or economics would be ideal but the old stables like History and English etc are just as good.  The ability to study quickly and show that you can learn is the thing here as you will be under presssure and learning all the time.    You will learn from a really expereinced trader and assist him in setting up a brand new division in this very successful international company.

You must have exceptional communication skills, tenacity, and the desire to succeed.  make no mistake, if you succeed it will be down to hard work and plenty of it.   You won't be switching off here but the sky is the limit to the earning potential once you become a successful experienced trader.

We are looking for strong self confidence and the ability to build relationships with new customers around the World.  Some experience in banking, trading, broking or legal would be an advantage and you will also be someone who is really customer focussed.   This role will need a highly motivated person and you must be a 24/7 person where work is concerned.  There will be extensive travel in this role, worldwide, and you must be able to do this, even at a moment's notice if an opportunity presents itself so as to follow it and make the deal happen.

Are you looking for the first huge step onto a lucrative career?  If yes then are you frightened of really long and hard work but rewarding work and fun?    Hopefully the answer is no.

The role will involve working alongside a really experienced seafood trader, buying raw material in Thailand, China and Vietnam and then selling the products into the UK and the EU markets.  As you gain more experience the objective is to expand this new division into the global market.

This unique opportunity would suit someone with experience of working in the City and who is happy to travel and it would be like managing your own business.  Maybe it would suit you if you are looking for a role in international sales.

If you had a foreign language this would be ideal but not a show stopper.   Does this sound like you?  If so then you must send your CV in without delay.
