My client is a well known company in their field and has really grown over the last few years. With many growth plans in place, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward thinking company. Their abilities have been recognised and has seen them win many awards in their field. They have an exciting opportunity for a Production Services Manager to join their team.
Reporting into the Operations Manager, the Production Services Manager will be responsible for:
Compiling and preparing client quotations / estimates
Negotiating, purchasing and liaising with third party suppliers
Placing, co-ordinating and managing all work outsourced to third party suppliers
Manage the scheduling and receipt of proof from printers
Upon completion of jobs, reconcile all external costs and raise purchase orders
Filing and management of all paperwork
Liaise with Account Managers
Other ad hoc duties
This really is a supper opportunity. The right person will ideally have experience in completing all the above tasks and come from a Printing / Direct mailing background. The ability to plan and organise you workload is very important along with very strong communication skills. You will need to be able to communicate with third party suppliers and strive to get the best price available.
